I AM ITALIAN AND I AM ORIGINALLY FROM A SMALL TOWN CLOSE TO PADOVA (ITALY).
I STUDIED AT THE UNIVERSITY OF PADOVA (ITALY), WHERE I OBTAINED MY BACHELOR MASTER'S DEGREES. THE FIRST ONE WAS IN STATISTICS, ECONOMICS, AND FINANCE, WITH A THESIS FOCUS ON GARCH-MODELS FOR INFLATION FORECASTING. DURING THE MASTER IN STATISTICAL SCIENCES, I HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO WORK WITH ANTONIO CANALE ON HIERARCHICAL BAYESIAN MODELS FOR EXTREME VALUES.
I GOT PH.D. AT THE UNIVERSITY OF PADOVA, IN THE DEPARTMENT OF STATISTICAL SCIENCE, WORKING WITH ANTONIO CANALE ON BAYESIAN NONPARAMETRICS FOR CAUSAL INFERENCE.

I HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO APPLY THE DEVELOPED NONPARAMETRIC BAYESIAN MODELS FOR CAUSAL INFERENCE IN ENVIRONMENTAL EPIDEMIOLOGY AND PUBLIC HEALTH.
